Bitcoin mining firm American Bitcoin fell to a new low price Wednesday, one day before executing a 1-for-15 reverse stock split.

American Bitcoin has approved a 1-for-15 reverse stock split following shareholder approval at its 2026 annual meeting.The Trump-backed Bitcoin mining company also elected Asher Genoot to its board and approved KPMG as its independent auditor.ABTC shares extended losses on Thursday despite the corporate action, while the company continues to hold more than 7,500 BTC.

Shares in Eric Trump's mining firm American Bitcoin have fallen more than 9% after reporting a quarterly loss of nearly $82 million.

The new $9.8 billion lease marks the first phase of Hut 8’s commercialization of its Beacon Point data center campus in Nueces County, Texas.Hut 8 also posted a net loss of $253 million, an increase of 89% from the $134 million loss it reported during the same period last year.

The company’s mining fleet now consists of ~89,242 miners with a capacity increase of over 12%.Shares in the company, ticker ABTC, rose over 12% in Wednesday’s session.

Publicly-traded miner American Bitcoin expands its owned hash rate, with its share price continuing to climb after hitting a low in March.
