Golteum is the world's first 100% asset-backed NFT marketplace built on the Ethereum network. It aims to democratize access to the gold market by allowing mass-market consumers to participate through fractionalized NFT ownership. Users can buy, sell, and redeem NFTs backed by physical gold bars. The platform integrates crypto, NFTs, and gold trading in one place, emphasizing user experience, ease of investment, and tracking holdings. Golteum also offers tokenization of other precious metals, with physical assets secured in third-party vaults and real-time Proof-of-Reserve (PoR) verification.

GLTM is a utility token on the Ethereum network that facilitates seamless transactions within the Golteum ecosystem. Holders gain exclusive early access to the marketplace, advanced reporting, and direct communication with gold analysts. Additional offerings for token holders include limited edition NFTs, gaming/metaverse assets, and educational features. GLTM token holders can also sign up for a Mastercard account to convert their NFT gold holdings into currency for spending and access lending pools by borrowing against their gold-backed NFTs. The token's functionality is designed to expand as Golteum grows.

The Golteum platform allows users to trade fractional NFTs backed by physical gold. It provides tools for managing investments, such as stop orders and price alerts, enabling 24/7 tracking of NFT holdings. Non-fractionally owned NFTs can be redeemed, shipped, and securely delivered. The platform focuses on enhanced technology, improved security features, and strategic partnerships. It utilizes the ERC-1155 token standard on Polygon for efficient real-world asset management, providing a comprehensive and secure environment for gold-backed NFT trading.

Golteum prioritizes transparency and security. The project has partnered with Certik, a blockchain security firm, to audit its smart contract, validating its reliability and integrity. To enhance transparency and accountability, Golteum has doxxed its six core team members. The platform also employs Chainlink's Proof of Reserve technology to continuously audit the collateralization of its 1:1 asset-backed treasuries, ensuring robust backing and real-time verification of physical assets held in secure third-party vaults.

The total supply of GLTM tokens is 1,000,000,000. During the presale, tokens are allocated after payment is successfully made and approved, with distribution occurring after the completion of Presale Stage 4. The initial distribution of GLTM tokens includes allocations for marketing (15.2%), liquidity pool (15.2%), dev team/founders (15%), project growth funds (8%), presales (25.5% combined across four stages), talent acquisition (5%), bonus/strategic sale (4.1%), private sale (4%), CEX listing (4%), rewards (3%), and charity (1%).

GLTM tokens were initially available through a presale. While specific details on the exact launch date are not yet public, information will be updated once the token becomes available on centralized or decentralized exchanges. Golteum has stated plans to list the token on major centralized exchanges following the conclusion of the presale.
