ICLighthouse DAO is a community-driven decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) operating on the Internet Computer (IC) network. It uses the ICL token for both governance and utility across its associated projects, such as ICDex. The ICL token is an ICRC1 standard token on the Internet Computer network, serving as both a governance and utility asset. Furthermore, ICL functions as gas for decentralized applications, an incentive mechanism within the ecosystem, and can be staked for potential income generation.

ICLighthouse DAO operates via a governance contract on the Internet Computer's SNS. It oversees core projects like ICDex and icRouter. ICDex is a fully on-chain order book decentralized exchange, supporting advanced order types and Orderbook Automated Market Making. icRouter facilitates cross-chain asset transfers using threshold signature technology, allowing movement between networks like Bitcoin, IC, and EVM chains without off-chain bridges. Additionally, ICLighthouse includes ICTC, a distributed transaction framework for Motoko-based DeFi development, and ICHouse, a blockchain explorer for tracking transactions and tokens on the IC network.

ICL tokens are available for trading on various decentralized exchanges (DEXs) within the blockchain ecosystem, often paired with other prominent cryptocurrencies. While not typically listed on major centralized exchanges, users can often acquire ICL through the Web3 wallets of such platforms by swapping stablecoins on a supported DEX. Some trading platforms are also in the process of integrating ICL.

Engaging with ICL, like other digital assets, carries inherent risks.
