The LAI tokenomics involve specific fees for its operations. There is no fee for the initial issuance of LAI tokens. A nominal 0.2% transaction fee applies when engaging with the index, and a 0.5% fee is charged upon redemption. While general network transaction fees are separate, the protocol covers the costs incurred during asset rebalancing, optimizing user experience and minimizing operational overheads for these essential adjustments.
