Restake Finance is a modular liquid restaking protocol designed to enhance capital efficiency within the restaking ecosystem. It allows users to deposit Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) to receive rstETH. This process enables participants to earn rewards from both Ethereum staking and the underlying restaking layer simultaneously. By providing a liquid representation of restaked assets, the protocol allows users to maintain liquidity while their assets contribute to the security of decentralized modules.

RSTK serves as the native governance and utility token for the platform. Its core functions include governance participation, where holders can vote on protocol parameters and DAO proposals. It also facilitates revenue sharing; by locking RSTK to receive sRSTK, users can earn a portion of the fees generated by the protocol. Additionally, the token is used for yield boosting, allowing holders to enhance their potential rewards within the restaking framework.

The protocol generates revenue by applying a fee to the rewards earned through the restaking layer. This fee is split between the community and the platform's operational fund. sRSTK is the tokenized representation of staked RSTK. To access the protocol’s revenue-sharing model and governance features, users are required to lock their RSTK tokens for a specific duration, such as 45 days. Upon locking, users receive sRSTK, which grants them voting power and eligibility for fee distributions. This mechanism is designed to align the interests of token holders with the long-term stability and growth of the platform.
